hist
Frequency plot of univariate data.
hist(x)
hist(x, xn)
Inputs
x A vector of data from a univariate population.
xn Optional input. If xn is given, the frequncies are calculated for the intervals [ xn[1] xn[2] ] , [xn[2] xn[3] ] , etc.

Description
This function displays a plot of the number of data points in a given interval against the intervals. If the second input is not specified, the intervals are between eleven equally spaced points between the minimum and maximum values of the input. Otherwise the second input is used for computing the frequency of occurrences of data points.

Example
>>x=randn(1000,1);
>>hist(x)
